Oli Howe is a professional freelance jazz pianist, band leader, piano teacher and music producer based in the south east, U.K. Studying piano from the age of 4 and cello from the age of 7, Oli received a music scholarship to Caterham School in 1990, graduated from Chichester College in 1999 and signed a record contract with his first band 'Cloud' on Manic Records.
During the following two decades he has worked with various artists and bands including Freakpower, Texas, Atomic Kitten, Bad Manners and J-Felix [Tru Thoughts Records] as well as touring, recording, performing 1000's of gigs up and down the U.K and Europe. Venues and festivals include Glastonbury, The Big Chill Festival, Love Supreme Jazz Festival, Jazz Re:freshed,, The Royal Albert Hall, St. Paul's Cathedral, The Cavern Club, BBC Radio Live Sessions, The Hilton, The Ivy, Soho House - The Ned, and Syon House.
Signing with Sup Peeps Records in 2007 under the producer name Oliloquy, he released a vast collection of electronic music on Spotify and iTunes which included remixes for Ubertone, Defunk, and Odjbox. This led to licensing much of his music to libraries worldwide for radio and T.V. and online syncs with adverts such as Toni & Guy, Mercedes Benz, London Fashion Week, Hasbro and more.
In 2013, Oli moved to Brighton where his music, performances and jazz trios have steadily become a fixture on the U.K. music scene. Currently working on new material for releases with the Oli Howe Trio and his latest original project Howes3, in addition to several on-going collaborations with vocalists, songwriters, producers and a range of diverse musicians from all around the globe.
