Oli Howe is a professional session musician and jazz pianist in high demand in the UK and Europe. He is a dynamic and versatile keyboard player, band leader, piano teacher and music producer based in Brighton and London, U.K. Studying piano from the age of 4 as well as cello and other instruments, Oli received a music scholarship to Caterham School at the age of 10, and later graduated from Chichester College in 1999.
Oli has worked with a varied selection of artists and bands including Freak Power (Ashley Slater, Norman Cook), The House & Garage Orchestra, Kele Le Roc (Basement Jaxx), MC Neat (DJ Luck & MC Neat), Leane Mason (Sweet Female Attitude), Darren Beckett (Brandon Flowers, Ambulance), Sara Oshlag (Danish Jazz Vocalist), Pete Hill (Alfa Mist), J-Felix (Tru-Thoughts), Texas, Atomic Kitten and Bad Manners.
Oli is regularly touring, recording, and performing at venues and festivals across the U.K., Europe, and Asia. Including Glastonbury, Love Supreme Jazz Festival (Glyde), The Cork Jazz Festival (Ireland), The Big Chill Festival (Herefordshire), Jazz Re:freshed (Nottinghill, London), The Jazz Cafe (Camden, London), Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club (Soho, London), The Royal Albert Hall, St. Paul's Cathedral, The Cavern Club (Liverpool), The Ivy, The Ned (Bank, London), as well as live BBC Radio Sessions.
As a producer and composer, Oli has also licensed a vast amount of his compositions to libraries worldwide. His music is regularly synced on radio, T.V. and online, appearing on adverts for Mercedes Benz, London Fashion Week, Toni & Guy, Hasbro and many more. In 2018, Oli recorded an album of heavily arranged, re-imagined jazz standards in Dublin titled 'Swingin' At The Haven', with drummer, Daren Beckett and bassist, Dave Redmond. Most recently, in 2019 he has released an album of original compositions with his latest project HOWES3 titled 'Moving Forward', in addition to several on-going studio collaborations with vocalists, songwriters, producers and a range of diverse musicians from all around the globe.
