FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I Need Strong Theory Knowledge?

Absolutely not. The sessions are for ALL levels. You only need to understand the basics of diatonic harmony, a major scale, and a basic understanding of dominant 7 chords. A short video on diatonic harmony and basic dominant 7 chords will be provided before the sessions if you feel you want to refresh your knowledge.

How Many Participants Are In Each Session?

The sessions are kept intentionally small to maximise your group experience. It varies from approximately 5 - 20 people per session.

Will There Be A Recording?

Yes. All participants will receive a free copy of the session via a private link that you can rewatch as many times as you like.

What Instrument Do I Need?

Any instrument you're most comfortable with or would like to progress with is fine.

Can I Ask Questions During The Session?

Of course. It's an interactive session and I'll have designated moments to take your questions, or you can ask a question at any point by pressing the question icon during the session.

Can Beginners Join?

Yes, absolutely. The session is specifically designed so that everyone from beginners, intermediate and advanced players can benefit without slowing down the pace of the session for others.

Why Does Reharmonisation Feel So Difficult?

Most musicians don't struggle because they lack theory.

They struggle because theory doesn't teach you how to actually hear possibilities.

You might know dozens of beautiful chords, but when you sit at the piano, open your DAW, or start arranging, it's difficult knowing where to begin.

These sessions are designed to bridge that gap.

You'll watch ideas develop in real time, understand the decisions behind them, training your ears to hear those same possibilities for yourself, and learning Oli's exact formulas and techniques of reharmonisation so you can immediately apply them in your own music.
